MNCC: Northern Lights Podcast Live Taping
MNCC at Dabney’s Grand Opening: Northern Lights Podcast Live Taping
When: Saturday, September 19 · Noon – 9 PM
Where: Dabney’s Cannabis Co., Nokomis East Dispensary — 5152 Hiawatha Ave, Minneapolis
Cost: Free to attend · 21+ (all cannabis sales inside the licensed dispensary)
We’re spending the day at Dabney’s Cannabis Co.’s grand opening — Minnesota’s first cannabis farmers market — and part of that day is a special edition of our Northern Lights Podcast, recorded live on site.
MNCC’s Tanner Berris teaches a Home Grow 101 Tent Talk at 2:30 PM as part of the free education series. Then, from 3 to 5:10 PM, we’re taping a special episode of the Northern Lights Podcast in the middle of the market — back-to-back conversations with growers, brand owners, a sitting state legislator, and community voices from across Minnesota’s cannabis industry. Four MNCC board members are behind the mics, and Dr. Clemon Dabney III — MNCC’s board chair and the dispensary’s own founder — joins for the closing segment.
The recording happens in the open; come watch. We don’t have a release date for the episode yet, but we’ll announce it here and in our newsletter the moment we do.
Beyond the taping, the day includes the full free education series (noon–4:30), a cannabis farmers market with growers, makers and community partners (4–8 PM), and live DJs (4–9 PM).
