Zota Gardens is a Minnesota based indoor cultivation facility focusing on premium craft cannabis products. We are licensed under the Minnesota Office of Cannabis Management (OCM) with plans for full expansion in 2026.

Position Summary

The Garden Tech supports all aspects of plant cultivation within a regulated indoor hydroponic facility. This role works directly with living cannabis plants and is responsible for executing daily cultivation tasks with precision, cleanliness, and strict adherence to SOPs and compliance requirements.

Core Responsibilities

Clone preparation and propagation
Transplanting and media preparation
Plant training (trellising, topping, defoliation)
Irrigation and nutrient mixing (as directed)
Monitoring plant health and identifying stress or deficiencies
Assisting with Integrated Pest Management (IPM) applications
Environmental monitoring (temperature, humidity, VPD)
Harvest support (cutting, hanging, room turnover)
Facility cleaning and sanitation per SOP standards
Accurate data logging and activity documentation

Compliance & Regulatory Responsibilities

Follow all Minnesota OCM regulations and internal SOPs
Maintain proper badge access and restricted area procedures
Support accurate plant tracking and documentation
Maintain strict chain-of-custody integrity
Report compliance concerns immediately

Qualifications

Preferred:

1+ year experience in cannabis cultivation, greenhouse, or horticulture
Familiarity with hydroponic systems and indoor grow environments
Basic understanding of plant nutrition and IPM practices

Required:

Ability to follow detailed SOPs and maintain clean work practices
Strong attention to detail
Ability to work in humid environments
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
Must meet Minnesota OCM employment eligibility requirements
Must pass background check per OCM requirements

Compensation

$21-$25 per hour
Hourly position (10–40 hours per week)
Full-time and part-time opportunities available
Overtime possible during harvest periods
Performance-based incentives may be available
