Zota Gardens is a Minnesota based indoor cultivation facility focusing on premium craft cannabis products. We are licensed under the Minnesota Office of Cannabis Management (OCM) with plans for full expansion in 2026.

 

Position Summary

 

The Post-Harvest Processing Tech supports all post-harvest operations within a regulated indoor cannabis facility. This role is responsible for trimming, sorting, pre-roll manufacturing, labeling, packaging, and preparing finished flower products for sale in strict compliance with Minnesota OCM regulations.

 

This position plays a critical role in maintaining Zota Gardens’ premium craft standards and ensuring all finished products meet quality, presentation, and compliance expectations.

 

Core Responsibilities
●       Hand trimming cannabis flower to premium craft standards

●       Bucking and sorting flower by size and quality grade

●       Monitoring dry and cure processes (as directed)

●       Pre-roll manufacturing and preparation

●       Weighing and portioning product accurately

●       Labeling and packaging finished goods in compliance with OCM regulations

●       Verifying packaging accuracy and product presentation

●       Supporting inventory documentation and batch tracking

●       Assisting with vault organization and secure storage procedures

●       Maintaining clean and sanitary processing areas per SOP standards

●       Cannabis waste handling and documentation

 

Compliance & Regulatory Responsibilities
●       Follow all Minnesota OCM regulations and internal SOPs

●       Maintain proper badge access and restricted area procedures

●       Support accurate batch tracking and documentation

●       Maintain strict chain-of-custody integrity

●       Ensure labeling and packaging compliance prior to release

●       Report compliance concerns immediately

 

Qualifications
Preferred:

 

●       1+ year experience trimming or processing cannabis flower

●       Experience in regulated manufacturing, packaging, or food production environments

●       Understanding of quality grading and moisture control

 

Required:

 

●       Strong manual dexterity and hand-trimming precision

●       Ability to follow detailed SOPs and maintain clean work practices

●       Strong attention to detail and product presentation

●       Ability to sit or stand for extended periods

●       Ability to lift up to 40 lbs

●       Must meet Minnesota OCM employment eligibility requirements

●       Must pass background check per OCM requirements

Compensation
