Minnesota Cannabis College offers immersive training programs, complete with hands-on labs, designed to prepare you for the industry's roles in retail and cultivation.
What you'll get
Our training combines classroom instruction with practical, real-world learning. Every program includes hands-on lab work, site visits to operating cannabis businesses, and instruction grounded in Minnesota's current regulations and market conditions. You'll get a certificate with job-ready skills and a working understanding of how the industry actually operates.
Three career tracks
Retail Track prepares you for roles in dispensaries and cannabis retail, with training in product knowledge, customer service, and state compliance. Cultivation Track prepares you for careers in cannabis cultivation, covering plant science, cultivation techniques, and commercial growing operations. Manufacturing Track will prepare students for careers in cannabis product manufacturing, with hands-on training in extraction, infusion, processing, and packaging.
No cost to eligible participants
Thanks to grant funding from state partners, our training programs are offered free of charge to eligible Minnesotans. We're a 501(c)(3) nonprofit committed to equity-driven workforce development, with a focus on communities historically affected by cannabis prohibition.
